Lesbos – Ett slags limbo

Det är just nu mer än 10 000 flyktingar som är mer eller mindre strandsatta på den grekiska ön. Flyktingarna lever i ett slags osäkert limbo, en väntan mellan två världar. Fotografen Angelica Harms har varit på Lesbos flera gånger under 2015–2018 för att dokumentera situationen och göra en insats som volontär i olika NGO:s. Nu utkommer boken "Lesbos – ett slags limbo" på Mångkulturellt centrums förlag. I boken undersöker Angelica situationen utifrån skärningspunkten mellan estetik, fotografi och antropologi. Boken är dubbelspråkig, svenska och engelska. There are currently more than 10,000 refugees more or less stranded on the Greek island. The refugees live in a kind of insecure limbo, waiting between two worlds. The photographer Angelica Harms has been to Lesbos several times in 2015-2018 to document the situation and to work as a volunteer in various NGOs. Now we publish the book "Lesbos - a kind of limbo" at the publishing house of the multicultural center. In the book, Angelica examines the situation from the point of intersection between aesthetics, photography and anthropology. The book is bilingual, Swedish and English
